Wick and Cindy Jackson

wick-and-cindy-p1010115.JPG Wick and Cindy have been committed to each other for 23 years.  They have four beautiful daughters, Emily, Mary Ashley, Maggie and Elizabeth.  Wick and Cindy served in Ethiopia from 1992 – 1994 where Wick was the builder of the IEC/ETC Seminary under SIM.  Their lives were changed forever after going on their first short term mission trip.  Later they moved to Cochabamba, Bolivia where they lived and loved for 6 years.  During those years they served and still do with Envoy International.  Cindy was badly burned while in Bolivia and survived 3rd degree burns over 35% of her body.  God used that to place burns victims on Cindys heart.  She founded BCI, Burn Care International, and works hard to be a blessing to those in need.  She opened the first BCI clinic in 2006 in Bolivia.  Wick is the Director of Envoy International/South America

I recently came across a picture at a yard sale by a “Wick Jackson”. Upon searching the web, your name came up. Is there any chance that this could be you?

  2. wick jackson says:

yep,,,that is me. Well I guess I should ask what it is a picture of. But yes I have done some art work in the past but not as much as I should have.

Hey Wick! Bill Waller here. Saw you in Bolivia in 2003 and 2004 with 1st Pres of Florence. I’m up here in VA now staying with my brother and his wife. I guess you must have heard about the trouble that I got into back in 2006 and the resulting consequences I went trough. Tough time finding a job right now, but I’m slugging along at it. I just wanted to ltell you that getting to know you and your family while in Bolivia (and after that in Florence) was one of the highlights of my life, and I feel blessed for having had that opportunity. Please remember me in your prayers and drop me a line when you get the chance.

    Take care,

    Bill

I have a few beautiful drawings from that amazing artist, Wick Jackson, as well! I think they’re worth a fortune now, probably. (And no, Wick, it wasn’t MY yard sale Rhonda ran across your picture. ha)

God gave Wick many gifts, one of which is his amazing artist talent.

Wick, I hope this note finds you, Cindy, and the girls blessed beyond measure!

    :o)

Hey Wick! Just wanted to say hello to the best (unfortunately former) landlord ever! The last time I saw you in Florence was right after Cindy got burned. I am so glad to hear she is doing well. You are doing great work, as more of us should. Be safe & happy. Sylvia
