Men of CIU…our future looks good!

March 31, 2007

dsc00118.jpgdsc00118.jpgThese are some of my pals at CIU. While visiting Mary Ashley I was able to sit with them while they ate their lunch…I asked Joey, on the far right, what was his favorite meal here at the cafetaria? He looked puzzled. I asked, “What threw you off, the word favorite or the word cafetaria?” He quickly replied…”The word HERE!” We had a great time talking and trading slap stick humor. Rick the Red is on the far left and then there is Daniel the Italian Stallion and then there is Joey. There were many photos taken of us but this is the only one I could publish. We plan to have a Hee Man Woman Haters Club meeting including a large bonfire and some sort of pointy sticks.

Rich and Cheryl Buhre’s home

rich-01_30_2004-041_1.jpgI stayed at my friends, the Buhre’s, home while in Atlanta. Rich and I have taken several short term mission trips together. He also gives me ideas on how to improve different areas of my Envoy ministry.

Visiting Mary Ashley

March 31, 2007

dsc00105.jpg First stop after leaving town was to see Mary Ashley at Columbia International University. It is always good to see her. She was beautiful. We opted not to eat the same ole cafetaria food and so we went to a 50s diner and had some famous fried chicken. We sat and talked for a while and just enjoyed our time together. I will miss her as I travel.

My Baby Brother…Glenn

March 31, 2007

dsc00102.jpgThe other day Glenn bought me a Hot Chocolate before I left to travel. It will be the last Hot Chocolate he buys me for about three weeks. Glenn is a gifted builder and one of the best daddy’s that I know.
